.rar .zip .ace .r01 .001 .7z
Aceste extensii sunt chiar foarte des intalnite si inseamna ca aceste fisiere sunt compactate intr-o arhiva. Aceasta este doar o forma de a face fisierele mai compacte si mai usor de downloadat.
Pentru a deschide oricare dintre cele afisate mai sus poti folosi WinRAR (asigura-te ca ai cea mai noua versiune) sau, cel mai flexibil, PowerArchiver. Daca lucrezi cu fisiere .zip, poti sa incerci si WinZip. Deasemenea, cu fisierele .ace sau .001, poti incerca WinAce.
.cbr .cbz
Aceastea sunt, in general, reviste cu benzi desenate in format arhiva. Aceasta inseamna ca in cele .cbr/.cbz este o colectie de .jpegs (de obicei scanari ale fiecarei reviste de benzi deseate), adunate intr-o arhiva .rar sau .zip. Aceasta arhiva este atunci redenumita in .cbr/.cbz ca sa poti...asocia acel tip de fisier cu cititorul vostru de reviste de benzi desenate (ca Ffview sau Cdisplay). Daca gasiti vreo arhiva deteriorata, poti sa o redenumesti in tipul formatului original sau poti:
a) Incerci sa repari eroarea...
b) dezarhivezi arhiva pentru a vedea unde este alocata eroarea.
.txt .doc
Fisierele de text de baza. Primul, .txt, poate fi deschis cu Notepad sau orice alt editor de text care iti este la indemana. Fisierele document (.doc) sunt, in general, deschise cu Microsoft Word, dar sunt si surse-deschise alternative, cum este OpenOffice sau NeoOffice.
.nfo
Fisierele NFO (sau info)contin informatii despre fiserele pe care tocmai le-ai downloadat. Ele sunt mereu incluse la scene release-uri si este FOARTE recomandat ca sa le citesti. In ciudaa ceea ce Windows incearca sa va zica, ele nu sunt Fisiere de Sistem ci, mai degraba, simple fisiere text, de obcei cu tenica ASCII. Poti sa le deschizi cu Notepad, Wordpad, DAMN NFO Viewer, UltraEdit sau orice editor de text care va este la indemana.
.pdf
Aceste fisiere sunt populare in sectiunea E-Books si se deschid cu Adobe Acrobat Reader, pe care il poti downloada gratis de acolo sau sa cumperi versiunea Profesional al programului.
.jpg .gif .tiff .tga .psd
Aceste fisiere sunt fisiere imagine de baza insemanand, ca in general contin poze, si pot fi deschise cu orice vizualizator de baza. Ultimul, .psd, este in special....asociat cu Adobe Photoshop, dar sunt si alte programe care le pot deschide (de exemplu, Gimp)
.sfv
Aceste fisiere verifica pentru a te asigura ca multi-volumele de arhive sunt complete. Aceasta, doar, te instiinteaza daca ai downloadat ceva complet sau nu (ceva care nu este o problema cand downloadezi cu BitTorrent). Poti sa deschizi/activezi aceste fisiere cu SFVChecker (versiunea Trial) sau hkSFV. Ele sunt in general incluse in majoritate arhivelor .rar.
.par
Aceaste un fisier de paritate, si este deseori folosit cand downloadezi de la grupuri media. Aceste fisier pot umple golurile cand downloadezi multi-volumele de arhive si gasesti parti deteriorate sau lipsa. Deschide-le cu QuickPar.
.avi
Probabil cale mai cunoscute recipiente video pe care le vei gasi, fisierele AVI (Audio Video Interleave) sunt capabile sa suporte multiple fluxuri audio si video. Ele pot, in general, rula in aplicatii ca Windows Media Player, dar VLC, in general, este mai recomandat de cand contine, aproape, toate plug-in-urile de care ai nevoie. Aceste recipiente sunt construite in jurul abilitatii de a rula multiple codificari diferite (ca XviD si DivX pentru video, si mp3/AAC/AC3 pentru audio).
.mov
Aceste sunt fisiere QuickTime. Poti, de obicei, gasi un torrent pentru QuickTime Pro, dar daca ti-ar placea, acesta are si alte optiuni (Google QuickTime Alternative).
.ra .rm .ram
Acestea sunt fisiere RealPlayer. Cu toata seriozitate, este recomandat sa eviti aceste fisiere cu orice pret. RealPlayer-ul oficial instaleaza un numar semnificativ de vulnerabilitati de securitate pe sistemul tau si niciodata nu va disparea in totalitate cand vrei sa il dezinstalezi. Dar daca insisti, se gasesc alternative necorporative cum ar fi Real Alternative, care va rezolva problema.
vcd/svcd
In principiu formatul vcd a fost creat sa fie capabil sa ruleze pe DVD player-ele de acasa, si nu pe ecranul computer-ului. Sunt, in general, 1-2 rip-uri de CD care sunt create a fi scrise direct pe CD. Totusi, ele nu sunt capabile sa ruleze pe toate DVD palyer-ele, si verfica, sa vezi, daca al tau este compatibil, inainte de a trece prin toate problemele. Daca nu ai un DVD player compatibil, ele sunt, inca, vizibile pe computer folosind VLC Media Player, dar, in general, calitatea este mediocra. De asemenea poti folosi VCDGear ca sa extragi continutul mpeg dintr-un fisier imagine SVCD sau VCD ca bin/cue. Pentru orice intrebari viitoare despre VCD, verifica www.dvdrhelp.com. Acesti tipi isi cunosc treaba, si pot sa te ajute cu tot felul de intrebari legate de media.
.mp3 .mp2
99.5% din timp, acestea sunt fisiere de muzica. Ruleaza-le cu WinAmp, iTunes, Foobar. Alegi tu player-ul.
.ogm .ogg
Fisierele media Ogg Vorbis sunt un alt format de fisier de muzica, dar, spre deosebire de mp3, este o forma de compresie fara brevet.Vei vrea, probabil, sa downloadezi filtrul DirectShow Ogg pentru a rula inapoi fisierele OGM, dar majoritatea player-erelor media moderne ar trebui sa fie capabile sa se descurce cu ele. Comform rezidentului Anime, vei da mai des peste fisiere .ogm daca incepi sa downloadezi anime sau alte filme/emisiuini TV care au dual audio.
Formatul .ogm este ca o carapace care contine varate piese impreuna. De exemplu poate contine fisiere video .avi si doua fisiere audio .ogg, care impreuna compun un film in care vei putea schimba limba (ele pot de asemenea incorpora fisiere de subtitrari). Unul dintre cele mai bune player-e pentru fisierele .ogm este Bsplayer care suporta toate caracteristicile pe care le contine un fisier .ogm.
.mkv
Un recipient .mkv lucreaza intr-un mod similar ca un .ogm. VLC este capabil sa ruleze aceste fisiere.
.bin and .cue
Fisierele Bin si Cue sunt imagini standard de CD sau DVD. In principiu, daca sunt deschise corespunzator, vei fi capabil sa scrii un disc care este 100% identic cu cel original. Scopul este de a face o clona perfecta. Pentru a le deschide ai cateva optiuni: Poti sa le scrii folosind un program ca Nero sau Alcohol 120%. Rezultatul final al acestui proces este o copie de 1:1 a discului software original, exceptand scrierea pe un CD/DVD.
O alta alternativa este sa folosesti Daemon Tools, care te lasa montezi imaginea la o „imagine de disc virtual”. Aceasta inseamna, ca in principiu, iti inseala computer-ul in a crede ca ai alt CD-Rom drive si ca ai pus CD-ul cu imaginea in acel drive. Este util pentru ca nu trebuie sa iti faci griji pentru scrierea discului sau zgarierea lui.
In final, daca te zbati sa accesezi fisierele cuprinse inauntrul unui fisier imagine dat, poti folosi Cdmage ca sa extragi fisierele si sa le scrii pe disc, sau doar acceseaza-le din hard drive-ul tau. Un fisier .iso este alt tip de fisier imagine care urmeaza aceleasi reguli ca .bin sau .cue, doar ca le extragi sau le creezi folosind WinISO sau ISOBuster. Uneori convertirea unui problematic fisier .bin si .cue intr-unul .iso te poate ajuta in scrierea lui pe un CD. ISO-urile sunt extrem de usor de scris cu majoritatea programelor de scris discuri (doar selecteaza o copie CD dintr-un ISO cand incepeti procedura).
.ccd .img .sub
Toate fisierele circula impreuna si se afla intr-un format CloneCD. CloneCD este ca majoritatea programelor de scris CD-uri. Vezi sectiunea .bin si .cue daca ai probleme cu aceste fisiere.
TIFF
TIFF serveşte în general ca format fără pierderi, similar PNG, dar cu mult mai puţină compresie. Totuşi, algoritmul său de compresie este foarte rapid (ceea ce prezintă avantaje pe calculatoarele mai vechi) şi majoritatea software-urilor de scanare suportă TIFF, ceea ce face din el o alegere potrivită pentru arhive.
PNG nu este bine suportat de software-urile de scanare, dar fişierele salvate în format PNG pot fi reduse mai mult decât cele TIFF. De exemplu, un TIFF de 33 megaocteţi se reduce la 17 megaocteţi atunci când este salvat ca PNG.
În ansamblu, PNG trebuie să fie preferat; totuşi, TIFF este şi el oferit. În majoritatea cazurilor, se recomandă Vorbis.
NU puneţi un format proprietar, ca MP3 într-un container liber, ca Ogg: veţi obţine un fişier care, deşi necesită ca playerul să suporte containerul liber, necesită suport şi pentru codecul non-liber.

These extensions are quite common and mean that your files are compressed into an archive. This is just a way of making the files more compact and easier to download.
To open any of those listed above you can use WinRAR (Make sure you have the latest version) or, most flexible, PowerArchiver. If you work with files. Zip, you can try and WinZip. Also, with the files. Ace or .001, you can try WinAce.
. Cbr. Cbz
These are, in general, comic books in an archive format. This means that the .cbr / .cbz is a collection of. Jpegs (usually scans each comicbook), collected in an archive. Rar or. Zip. This archive is then renamed to .cbr / .cbz to you ... that type of file associated with your reader of comic books (as Ffview or CDisplay). If you find a corrupted archive, you can rename the file into its original type or you can:
a) attempt to fix the error ...
b) unzip the archive to see where the error is allocated.
.txt .doc
Basic text files. First,. Txt, can be opened with Notepad or any text editor you have on hand. Document files (. Doc) are generally open Microsoft Word, but are open-source alternatives such as OpenOffice and NeoOffice.
. NFO
NFO files (or info) that contain information about fiserele you just downloaded. They are always included in scene releases and is highly recommended that you read them. These files are image files of the insemanand, they generally contain pictures, and can be opened with any viewer base. Last,. Psd is especially associated with Adobe Photoshop .... but there are other programs that can open (for example, Gimp)
. Sfv
These files check to make sure that multi-volume archives are complete. This just lets you know if you've downloaded something complete or not (something that is not an issue when downloading with BitTorrent). You can open / activate these files with SFVChecker (Trial version) or hkSFV. They are generally included in most. Rarely.
.par
This is a parity file, and is often used when downloading from newsgroups. These files can fill in gaps when you're downloading a multi-volume archive and get corrupted or missing parts. Open them with QuickPar.
.mvi
Probably the most popular video container you will find files AVI (Audio Video Interleave) is able to support multiple audio and video streams. They are generally run in applications such as Windows Media Player, but VLC generally is recommended since almost all plug-ins you need. These containers are built around the ability to run multiple different encodings (such as XviD and DivX for video and for audio mp3/AAC/AC3).
.mov
These are QuickTime files. You can usually find a torrent for QuickTime Pro, but if you'd like, there are other options (Google QuickTime Alternative).
. ra .rm .ram
These are RealPlayer files. In all seriousness, it is recommended to avoid these files at any price. RealPlayer software installed a significant number of security vulnerabilities on your system and never really goes away when you want to uninstall it. But if you insist, there are non-corporate alternatives such as Real Alternative, which will solve the problem.
VCD / SVCD
Basically VCD format was designed to be able to play on DVD players at home, not on the computer screen. Are generally 1-2 CD rips that are designed to be burnt directly to CD. However, they are not playable on all DVD players themselves, and It checks, to see if yours is compatible before going through all the problems. Unless you have a compatible DVD player, they are still visible on the computer using VLC Media Player, but generally the quality is mediocre. Ogg Vorbis media files is another music file format, but unlike MP3, is a form of non-patented compression would probably to download the DirectShow Ogg filter to play back OGM files, but most players ages modern media should be able to handle them. . Bin and. Cue
Bin and Cue files are standard CD or DVD images. Basically, if opened properly, you will be able to burn a disc that is 100% identical to the original. The goal is to make a perfect clone. To open them you have several options: You can burn them using a program like Nero or Alcohol 120%. The end result of this process is a 1:1 copy of the original software disc, except on a CD / DVD.
Another alternative is to use Daemon Tools, which lets you mount the image to a "virtual disk image." This means that basically tricks your computer into thinking that you have another CD-ROM drive and that you put the CD in that drive image. It is useful because it does not have to worry about burning the disc or scratching it.
Finally, if you're still struggling to access the files contained within any given image file you can use to extract files CDMage and write them to disk, or just access them from your hard drive. See this FAQ entry for more instructions on using. Bin and. Cue.
. Iso
A file. Iso is another type of image file that follows similar rules as. Bin and. Cue, only you extract or create them using WinISO or ISOBuster. Sometimes converting a problematic. Bin and. Cue in one. Iso can help you burn it to CD. ISOs are very easy to burn discs with most programs written (just select copy CD from an ISO you start the procedure).

All these files go together and is a CloneCD format. CloneCD is like most programs written CDs. See section. Bin and. Cue if you have problems with these files.
TIFF
TIFF generally serves as a lossless format, like PNG, but with much less compression. However, its compression algorithm is very fast (which has advantages on older computers), and most scanning software supports TIFF, which makes it a good choice for archives.
PNG is well supported by the scanning software, but the files saved in PNG format can be reduced more than TIFF. For example, a TIFF of 33 megabytes to 17 megabytes is reduced when saved as PNG.
Overall, PNG should be preferred, however, TIFF is also offered. For example, if you scan massive files to upload to Commons in order to be prepared by others, you'll want to use a lossless format (file format moficiarea loss causes an increase in artifacts with each save). Scanning software can not save directly supports PNG, but allows TIFF. In such cases, loading the TIFF format is acceptable as donated material to help you more easily Commons. (In this case, it would be a good idea to inform the other events so you can be charging ready for use more widely, and possibly to discuss some issues in advance.)
The statements above apply to the vast majority of TIFF files, however, be sure that the TIFF format is a bit strange - the specifications are vague, and, in theory, supports a wide range of compression and storage scheme (although most programs open TIFF files only recognize a few). Therefore, it is difficult to say something about TIFF's clear: For example, TIFF sites may contain JPEG's, not a lossless format. Generally, only TIFF's standard types can be uploaded to Commons.
Sound
Non-free formats or less known to be converted before loading - there is now a legitimate way of storing data for conversion from original formats for use in future or expiration of patents, even if the distribution of these data requires license original content ( As is often the case with works released under the GNU Free Documentation License or other license copyleft).
Commons can not accept MP3 audio file numerous patent claims on MP3, and is illegal in some countries to use open source software with MP3 and produce proprietary software companies are threatened by various processes.
Commons accepts no tracker formats, MIDI files or audio fonts. If a passage is important as music to be heard with a certain definition of the General MIDI instrument does not provide, and the license allows, use software to play the passage tracker RIFF WAVE format and then encode it in Ogg Vorbis.
